World-renowned figures have addressed the governments of various countries.

Nobel laureates have appealed to the governments of countries where sanctioned Russian assets are held, urging them to allocate these funds for Ukraine’s reconstruction and compensation for war victims.

This was reported by Ukrainska Pravda.

The laureates emphasized the necessity of using the Russian Central Bank’s assets to finance Ukraine’s recovery after a peace agreement is reached.

"We, the Nobel laureates who have signed this appeal, call on the governments of these countries to release these funds from the Russian Central Bank to finance Ukraine’s reconstruction and compensate war victims so that the country can quickly rebuild after a peace agreement is reached. The goal is to end the war, establish a just peace, and secure Ukraine’s future for the coming generations. We support this cause with our voices," the statement reads.
