Ukraine Nationalizes Assets Of One Of Largest Russian Oil Groups

The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court satisfied the claim of the Ministry of Justice to apply a sanction in the form of recovery of assets of the Russian company Tatneft for the benefit of the state.

This was reported by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.

It is noted that Tatneft is one of the largest industrial conglomerates in the field of production, processing and sale of oil products in Russia.

“This company, strategically important for the aggressor state, consistently pays significant taxes to the Russian budget, the funds from which are directed to the development and support of the military-industrial complex (MIC)

of the Russian Federation,” the report says. “Tatneft enterprises strengthen the energy and economic potential of the Russian Federation, which is used by its political leadership to wage an aggressive war against Ukraine.”

Based on the court decision, the corporate rights of companies directly owned by Tatneft were recovered for the benefit of the Ukrainian state:

— 100% of the share in the authorized capital of TATNEFT-AZS-UKRAINE LLC;

— 92.98% of the share in the authorized capital of KHARKOV-CAPITAL LLC;

— 88.97% of the share in the authorized capital of POLTAVA-CAPITAL LLC.

According to the report, the above companies own oil depots, gas stations, non-residential buildings, land plots, fuel trucks and cars in the Kharkiv and Poltava regions.
