Belarusian Defense Minister Scares Lukashenka With Armed Forces Of Poland, Baltic States

Khrenin spoke about tensions in the region.

The West is creating conditions for using Poland and the Baltic states in a proxy war against the “union state” of Belarus and Russia. This was stated by Defense Minister Viktar Khrenin on February 21, BelTA reports.

“The growing tension in the region is facilitated by the increasing militarization of the member states of the North Atlantic Alliance. Along with constant calls for the rapid deployment of NATO military contingents on their territories, Poland and the Baltic states are actively increasing the combat potential of their national armed forces,” Viktar Khrenin said.

The minister also noted that “in terms of arms imports last year, Poland became the world leader for the first time.”
